Logistics Operations Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a Logistics Operations Manager with a strong operational mindset to lead, coordinate, and continuously improve end-to-end logistics activities. This role is ideal for former military leaders who excel in mission execution, resource management, and leading diverse teams in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily logistics operations to ensure on-time, on-budget, and mission-ready execution
  • Plan and execute high-volume distribution operations with strict time, cost, and quality requirements
  • Manage and develop frontline supervisors and operational team; establish clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards
  • Translate strategic objectives into operational plans and execution timelines
  • Monitor KPIs, readiness metrics, and cost controls; implement continuous process improvement
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners to remove operational obstacles
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards
  • Identify operational risks and develop contingency and mitigation plans

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of logistics, operations, supply chain, 3PL leadership experience
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Experience using operational data to drive performance
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
